The new Toyota Corolla Altis has seen testing for quite sometime now. We happened to visit the dealer recently who shared with us that the new facelifted Corolla Altis was expected soon.
Toyota India recently announced the resume of normal production operations in India and also announced the launch of the Etios Liva in June.
We expect back to back launches by Toyota and the Altis to be on roads in a few weeks time. The new Altis will a new petrol engine with slightly higher power and torque. It will be offered in both petrol and diesel engine with a manual and automatic transmission options. The car will get a new 7 speed automatic gear box.
The Corolla will get some new competition from the Renault Fluence which will launched by end of May.
