Nissan X-Trail facelift launched in Japan

2011 Nissan X-Trail SUV facelift breaks cover in Japan. For the 2011MY, there’s the subtlest of design tweaks, mainly to the front end and the interior, plus a new diesel version and equipment upgrades.

Nissan has recently upgraded the engine to meet BSIV emission norms in India.

Nissan X-Trail in India is sold a CBU and hence we could expect refreshed version to be launched in India soon. Nissan is currently focusing on the Micra the small car which will be launched on 14th July in India.

The diesel-powered X-Trail will be available with a new 6-speed automatic transmission. The 2.0-litre diesel unit produces 170-horsepower and 360Nm of peak torque. Furthermore, Nissan has introduced a new an “Advanced Hill Descent Control” fitted with a speed-setting function.
